Jammin’ at Maryland’s Fall Concert Embraces the Sounds of the Community

While some may have been watching the University of Maryland football team get swept away by Northwestern, there was a concert that occurred for the two hours before the start of the game. Hosted by Jammin’ at Maryland on October 11, their fall concert brought together students from the university. From songs by Muse to Paramore, students got together to jam to songs from their favorite bands as well as a few original pieces.

Jammin’ at Maryland is a club open to students of the University of Maryland that “aims to provide a chill environment to create music with other members. We encourage people of all musical skill levels to bring their individual talents in different instruments. We hope to broaden everyone’s exposure to varying genres of music, for music is a universal language that we all can understand and enjoy.” Anyone who is interested in their shows or club meetings should check out their page on Terplink.
